Welcome to the homepage of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Basel and Northwest Switzerland!

Our church is international, with members from several European countries, as well as from other parts of the world.  In contrast to many “international” churches, our services are in German rather than English.

Regular Sunday services, including a children’s service, take place at 10:00 in the Kartäuserkirche (Theodorskirchplatz 7), within the walls of the city orphanage, opposite the Theodorskirche on Wettsteinplatz.
 
Other congregational activities take place at Friedensgasse 57, where the parsonage and church office are located.  These include Bible study and discussion groups, choir rehearsals, confirmation classes, as well as regular activities for and with children.
